How to Register a House Number and Household Registration
After your new home is completed, one of the most important steps before moving in is to register for a house number and obtain a household registration book. Documents Required for House Number Registration
- Original Notification of House Document (Thor.Ror. 9)
- Copy of ID card and household registration of the applicant. If the applicant cannot submit in person, an authorization letter is required, along with copies of ID cards and household registrations of both the grantor and the grantee, plus two witnesses with signatures or right-thumb fingerprints, all certified as true copies.
- Copy of land ownership documents such as Chanote, Nor Sor 3, or Sor Por Kor.
- Original construction permit or building certificate
Steps to Register a House Number
- Submit the application with complete documents at the local District Office, Municipality Office, or Sub-district Office.
- Wait for verification and issuance of the house number:
- For houses within municipal areas: approximately 7 days.
- For houses outside municipal areas: approximately 30 days.
Note: Registration must be completed within 15 days after construction. Failure to do so may result in a fine of up to 1,000 THB.
